Just picked up new a V2 9300 RF version of mini. Trying to figure best way to mount

Trying to figure out my best way to wall mount it behind my wall mounted 42 inch TV.

Double sided Velcro? Should I stick to the wall or to the back of the TV? Is over heating a potential issue?

If Velcro is the way to go, could someone send me a link to amazon of the type of Velcro they used that strong enough to handle the job?

Several options for mounting the mini... You might want to call TiVo and see if the have any of the mounting brackets left.

If not, I would use Velcro onto the back of the TV. Both Lowes and Home Depot carry heavy duty Velcro that would work great.

We mounted ours to the back of the TV with Velcro. Been there for over a year and a half with no problems.

The remote will be the quickest way. V2 has the guide button under the down arrow... The V1 has the guide button to the lower / right of the right arrow button.

December of last year? It will be a V1 Mini

Actually the best way is to look at the front of the Mini. The new Mini has the words "TiVoMini" in the center of the unit. The old model has it on the left front.

How does that differ from, you know, two-sided tape?

With the velcro you can remove it easily without messing up the double-sided tape. Helpful if you want to move the TV or have it serviced.
