Saw that coming from too far away. Sad to see Detective Carter go but except for a big loose end, it looks like the HR story is done.

I love the addition of Shaw but really wish they didn't kill off Carter.

Hoooolllllllleeeeee crap.

When I said "Get Carter" last week, I didn't think they'd really get Carter until she admitted to Finch that she knew about the machine.
Then I knew that she was dead detective walking.

Well, if you want to piss off Reese, this is a good way to do it.

Awww Crap. I'm going to miss Carter. I wasn't surprised by the affection between her and John, that's been growing for a long time. Glad to see Fusco get something meaty to do this ep. He's been pretty much relegated to little screen time this season.

Simmons is in for a long slow death. John is not going to be merciful with him.

Gut wrenching to see even though I knew it was coming. John unhinged is going to be scary.

Not sure how accurate this is but I read that Kevin Chapman was doing a movie and had some scheduling issues for the earlier episodes.

Which reminds me to mention that I did like the scenes with Shaw telling Fusco that his son was ok but she couldn't help him and the scene where Fusco thanks her.

Oh and Root dropped an interesting tidbit about there being others before Reese.

FYI, Taraji P. Henson will be on tonight's Letterman and the blurb made it sound like she will be talking about the last episode.

She did a Q&A with Entertainment Weekly on the last episode as well.

It's been weird for me that Taraji's eyes were always wet like she was on the verge of tears.

How 'bout that face that Fusco made when he strangled the guy.. Looked like the debbil hisself.

Remember we have characters in waiting from earlier in the season. The Russian girl and the insurance investigator.

EW also had an interview with the producers about this episode.

It was fairly obvious that Fusco wasn't going to be the one that died since all the previews made it out to look like it would be him. I'm sad to see Carter go. Can't wait to see Reece go nuts now, poor Simmons.

I think they even cheated and we never saw the scene that was in the preview.

I noticed how the music got all upbeat and happy "they all lived happily thereafter" right before the hit.

C'mon. They all knew that Simmons was still out there.

BTW, how about if Carter just called the FBI one more time and had them come to her?

Or call the media?

Or instead of going to Manhattan, why not go to another FBI office, Boston or a closer one?

Exactly. I hate it when people who are supposed to be smart act like idiots.

I figure that with everything going on she and Reese were so consumed with mutual passion for each other they couldn't think straight

Drat! Just when I decide to watch my first episode of this show, mainly because of Taraji P. Henson, guess whose character gets killed off?! Not sure what to make of this, or how to proceed.

I never liked that actress or the character. She lacked charisma and came across as a person of low intelligence--like she was just reading lines without understanding what they meant.

There was no chemistry between her and Batman, so I'm relieved that I don't have to watch them kiss again. And with two regular, hotter female characters now on the show, she was dead weight anyway.

I don't agree but I love individual opinions.

...
Nah. She did a decent job with the acting. Like I said she always had the tears in her eyes.

If the acting ability of say, an Olivia Munn is a 2, Tariq is a 7. Claires Danes is a 9.
