Go all DECA?

Hi - -just a quick n00b question re the DECA setup. I have a TiVo Roamio and 2 Minis. Do all three units need to be connected via DECA for things to work properly? Thanks!

Just to clarify, DECA is for Satellite TV. Tivos use the companion technology MOCA.

With that out of the way, you can mix and match in terms of connections without issue. Any combination of MoCA or Ethernet should be fine.

Any can be connected via ethernet or DECA. Unlike Moca, there can be no cable TV signals on the same wires as your DECA, so keep it isolated from your incoming CATV line(s).

No Tivos have DECA built-in, so every one that can't connect directly to ethernet must have it's own powered DECA adapter. You must also have have one connected to your router and your coax network.
