Return to the beginning of recording program?

Hi...

Playing around with my new Roamio and there's one feature that I loved from my TiVoHD that I can't seem to get working on the Roamio..

If I turn on the TV and it's in the middle of whatever program is on, when I had the S3 I could basically fast forward to the end of the program, hit fast forward again and it would loop around to the beginning of the program.

I can't seem to make this work on the Roamio. Is it something I have to program or was this feature removed? Is there another way to quickly go to the beginning of the program you're watching, or do I have to go through the TiVo menu, My Shows, etc...

Press and hold the Instant Replay button (the one that skips back 8 seconds) that will go to the beginning of the show.

Press and hold the advance button to go to the end.

I think you can just hold down the Jump back button. Else press REW and then use the advance (->) button to skip to tick backwards until you get to the start.

Thanks. Though it works a little differently, at least it's still there.

It will require a reprogram of my Harmony, I don't think I currently have a replay button.

Which Harmony. I have the 650 and it's usually mapped by default to the button that has two arrows back and a line.

The advance is usually mapped to the two arrows forward with the line.

Thanks for that. I'm using a Harmony 550 and it worked. I think that was the button I used to push on the HD. After having it for 5 years it just became such a cerebral action, I didn't even realize it.
