Not a fan of the returning racers. Give new blood a chance at the money; they already had their chance and blew it...

Since none of the other teams won their races, I guess this lets us know one team who won't be winning the current race.

Mark (who raced previously with his friend, Bopper) and Mallory (who raced previously with her father, Gary) are an odd couple. He's almost 20 years older than her.

Ugh indeed. Not only returners but recent returners. Very recent. Hate the idea.

I like the Cowboys and Globetrotters, so that isn't so bad.

I've had my fill of Margie and Luke though.

I've already had my fill of Leo and Jamal, and I would be perfectly fine never seeing Luke on my TV screen again.

I was always a fan of Jet & Cord as well as Flight Time & Big Easy. And I was actually one of the few who liked the Twinies. That said, I'm not a huge fan of the seasons where they bring back a whole boatload of returning players.

I'll probably still end up watching, though.

Margie and Luke definitely I'm tired of. And I'll be in the minority here but I've had enough of the cowboys and the cheesy music they play when they're on screen. Glad to see the Trotters.

Looks like we should just call this "Season 22 plus a few others"

Ugh. This might be the first season of TAR I might skip. There are TOO many teams I can't stand. Brendon and Rachel, The Afghanimals, Twinnies!! Maybe, I;ll just watch with the sound off.

Why do teams need to be on for a THIRD time. They don't have enough fairly interesting teams to bring back that they have to bring back teams again and again?

Very disappointing TAR that you have to fall into the same trap as the other reality shows. I thought you were better than that!!

I've been mostly uninterested in watching TAR the last couple seasons...if these are the teams, I certainly will not be watching any of it. Blah...

I think they need a road block where they go to Sea World and someone jumps a Shark. Then we could officially say that TAR jumped the shark with this bunch

I wonder if the desire for returning teams is more driven by the network or by the producers.

My problem is with the fact that they're bringing back three (and a half) teams from Season 18, which was called "Unfinished Business" and was essentially an All-Star season of teams that had raced previously and didn't win. So why do those three teams need to be on yet another All-Star season?

I have no problem with the idea of All-Star seasons, but I could easily find ten other teams from the last 8-10 seasons that I'd much rather see than the ones they chose for this version. The only team I'm glad to see back is Dave and Connor, as I think they would have been able to do really well if Dave hadn't gotten injured early in the race.

I would much rather see an Amazing Race of PAST WINNERS. that would be more interesting to see, they would come back for sure for money or even past 2nd PLACE ONLY winners.

I'd much rather see all new people. TAR, to me really doesn't lend itself to All-Star seasons in that it's not the social game that the other similar games are.

My guess is that it's pretty tough for them to actually get returning teams. After all, figure these people have to take 45-60 days out of their lives to do this. If they're working, that can be tough for a lot of people.

Course, if they have that much trouble finding people to return, then I'd say skip having people return.

Do these people work? It would be pretty tough for me to take a month off once but to get it 2 or 3 times would be tough and my coworkers would be pissed.

Dave and Connor deserve a pass on that statement. Being a cancer survivor, rupturing your Achilles tendon, and still going on to win two straight legs (albeit using an Express Pass to do it) is pretty freaking sweet even if he wasn't the older of the pair to add to the challenge, and I think they probably would have won that season with room to spare if it hadn't happened.

I'm not a fan of returning players. They all had a shot at winning & need to give a whole new group a chance.
Thank goodness for TiVo so I can fast forward through every second that Brenchal is on the screen. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

TAR used to be must watch for me. I never even watched the last season or the current past the first episode. Chalk me up as one who's tired or re-treads. i can see giving someone like the father/son with a medical exit a retry, but tired of All-Star *****.
