Paige was veryclose to hearing some sekrit stuff.

"Hey, Dad, why are you and Mom always doing housework stuff in the basement?"

Martha looks more and more like she's not long for the world.

We still don't know which side Nina is playing, but now she can tell Stan that she'll take his way out.

I think it's pretty obvious at this point that she's on the Russian side, but she's done a good job of keeping her options open.

I'm curious to see how this goes. The writers have done a good job setting up a situation where one character or the other either has to go, or is fundamentally changed. Either Beeman really turns traitor, or Nina fears he won't, and thus fears for her life, and takes his escape plan before he decides to turn over the Echo stuff.

The conversation about whether her face hurt, and they had to make it look good was telling on that point.

I loved the Star Trek comments. Those movies are so old that it's easy to forget they were new at one time.

As a whole though, I'm losing interest in this show this season. Last season it seemed to be much faster and more exciting. This season, it just seems that they are dragging out the stories as much as possible. I'm getting tired of the whole Stan/Nina thing. I'm also already bored with the rogue Navy officer. I liked Kate, but now that she's killed off...

I will finish watching this season, but I don't think I'm going to renew the season pass.

We should remember that Nina was merely a secretary at first. She gets blackmailed and "turned" by Stan, and sets up the Rezident for him, and manages to talk her way out of facing treason charges by offering to spy on Stan.

I guess that shows that she can talk her way and wriggle out of any rough spot. She could slip away from both Stan and the embassy and start a coffee business in Canada.

So is Larrick after the son, or the woman who picked him up at the train station and he's assuming she's tied to Elizabeth?

and is that the same house that Paige visited earlier this season?

I'm enjoying the plot surrounding him. I keep seeing his as an over-the-top superhero/supervillian version of Oliver North. I don't expect his time in the story to last too much longer though. He's getting too close.

I'm getting really tired of both Nina and Martha. Nina, because the playing-both-sides things is just getting old. Martha, because nobody is that freaking stupid.

I'm wondering how this Nina thing continues next season. The Russians know. Stan knows the Russians know. Things can't keep continuing the way they have been. They either have to kill off Stan, kill off Nina, or make Stan into a Russian asset (perhaps making Nina his handler; what a reversal of fortune...).

My assumption is that he wants to follow things up the food chain to get to the people with the real power, so he can both take revenge and eliminate whatever leverage they have on him.

If he wanted the son, he'd have just killed him instead of bugged him.

Martha. Another actress who had to have had her agent sell her as not being that attractive.

It's the same woman and house that Elizabeth left in the first scene of the season. Assumption is that's where she recuperated.

i thought she stayed in PA somewhere (the house Paige visited and "broke into" after getting on a bus), and this house was upstate NY.

What going to be interesting is finding out how many assets KGB Central has left.

In the preview we see
Spoiler:
Phillip telling the Rezident that "My wife and I are out"
which makes ya wonder if they can quit or is it like leaving The Mob?

Obviously what we have been seeing with P&E at home and them seeing Emil & family murdered, what happens to Jared and asking if they want that for their kids.

Son wouldn't be playing Nintendo in the USSR, either.

The house Paige went to on the bus, sick aunt Helen's, was the cover story for where Elizabeth was while away between seasons. Elizabeth was never there, but was instead recuperating at the house where Jared was taken.
