David Blaine: Real or Magic - 11/19/13

Anyone else watch this? It was really mind boggling some of the stuff he did. Especially the ice-picker through his hand and bicep.

What was even more amazing was the A-List stars that participated. Harrison Ford (who was pretty funny and freaked out), Wil Smith and his family, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, Woody Allen, Ricky Gervais, etc.

Also was impressed by how he swallowed a piece of a dollar bill and magically "put it back" from within his mouth!!

I have done magic for a number of years and can do some of the things he's done in his other shows. But some of his stuff I have no clue, extremely well done and of course the fact that he does his stuff right in front of people and not from a stage is awesome. The best part of his effects is the reaction. Harrison Ford's was the best. I was surprised to see Woody. And seeing Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul freak out was great.

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down'. - Bob Newhart.

The celebrity stuff was cool and a real how'd he do that, but when he was with non celebrities it was pretty bad. Some just seemed like he needed to fill time and put no thought into the trick. The one where he spit the fire on the wall and made indigo appear or the one where he had the three people count cards then he magically increased the amount of cards when the camera conviently panned to him...just two examples. Other than that type of stuff I enjoyed it.

Saw it last night. I like his shows. I know there are always some haters but he's very good at what he does. And by that I do mean "magic" but more so entertaining.

Edit. And I'll need to find the video about the dollar trick online to rewatch but it seemed like somehow he really just folded it because afterwards you could see the crease in it

Harrison Ford looked like he was going to cry.

Watched this last night, very impressive. I especially loved the one's where he hid the card inside the fruit. Loved Harrison Ford's reaction, "Get the f*!@ out of my house!"

It was really nice to see Stephen Hawking smile like that.

I have a signature and I'm not afraid to use it.
