Slow Tivo server this morning?

I'm getting lengthy (like 10-15 seconds) spinny circles when selecting a recording from a NPL group as well as when exiting the recording. Anyone else?

This had been going on for an hour or so up to about 11:40AM EDT but seems to have suddenly stopped as I typed this.

Would this be an internet comms issue (like calling back to the mother ship) or an internal Roamio issue? Nothing wrong with my 60Mb/s internet connection on this end.

When was the last time your TiVo connected back to the TiVo servers?

Question Same Issue

I tried restarting the device and testing the connection to the network. It says it successfully connected to the TiVo service about 20 minutes ago. Still get the TiVo pinwheel, and accessing certain menus (for example, I'm trying to set up a season pass for a show that starts tonight) causes a crash, I guess--the menu I was on just disappears.

I am experiencing the same slowdown. The search function on my Roamio gives a server error after the blue circle spins for about 15 seconds. Usually the results are instantanious.
My Roamio connects to the Tivo Network just fine when I run the test.
I am on a 100Mbps internet connection in Atlanta. Something is wrong on the Tivo side.

My thought was it could be a little slow if it just connected and was finishing up processing what it downloaded.

No, it's the usual Tivo bullcrap where the box is tied too closely to the craptacular mothership. It's the same crap we've all seen before.

Tivo, here's a clue: YOU DON'T NEED TO CONNECT TO YOUR SERVERS TO GIVE ME SHOW DETAILS, UPCOMING EPS ETC.

Thanks, I feel better now.

Sorry, for some reason the forum never Emailed me that there were responses and this is the first I have come back to check.

Tivo has connected normally.

As of today (a day later), the issue seems to be resolved so whatever was wrong at the mother ship, it got fixed.

Same here--no issues today or (at least late) yesterday.
