The Carrie Diaries Season 2

The show is back, but on Friday night, is that a bad sign?

I enjoyed the ep. Loved that they introduced Samantha.

Here are the ratings from last night:
Quote:
CW The Carrie Diaries 0.3 rating, 1 share, viewers: 0.84 million

On The CW, The Carrie Diaries earned a paltry 0.3 adults 18-49 rating, down from last season's 0.6 series premiere rating and also down a tenth from the 0.4 adults 18-49 rating last season's finale earned.
CW goes by very different standards than the rest of the majors, so I can't comment as to this show's prospects.

I'm enjoying the show. But I hate the Dad romance stuff. I'm more interested in Carrie and her friends.

I loved Samantha trying to teach Mouse how to do phone sex. Pretty funny.

I'm sure he'll eventually be phased out if the show continues. Pretty common for shows that focus on teens/young adults. Start with parents in the show, but after a few years, they disappear. Of course, there have been exceptions. 'Gossip Girl' kept the parents/adults in it for the full run with major plot lines connected to the kids.

I'm still watching an enjoying. Maybe I missed it, but when Carrie and Kidd got back together, I don't remember any big deal being made about her losing her virginity but not to him.

So is Walt in NY now? Seemed kind of strange he wasn't around in the latest ep (the house party).

This was definitely the case with the original Beverly Hills 90210.
