65th Prime Time Emmy Awards (2013) - LIVE with spoilers

65th Prime Time Emmy Awards discussion.

Who will win big? Breaking Bad? Mad Men? Games of Thrones? House of Cards?

Who are your favs?

I am pulling for Breaking Bad, but would be happy with wins for House of Cards or Mad Men.

Merrit Weaver wins Best Supporting Actress in Comedy for "Nurse Jackie." Quite the long shot there.

Nikki Finke over at Deadline says it has something to do with the Creative Arts Emmys and the fact that the Emmy award winners on that show were given next to no time for a speech.

Don't ask me, I don't get her reasoning either. I think Nikki just wanted an excuse to complain about that.

I'll be shocked if Kevin Spacey doesn't win for House of Cards. That was a funny bit he did at the beginning.

Tony Hale!

First he wins for best supporting actor, then he comes up on stage with Julia Louis-Dreyfus to play his TV role to her "Veep"-HEE-larious!

And she purposely didn't thank him, and he purposely didn't remind him! Classic!!!!!

He was never nominated for an Emmy before? HERESY!!!!!

Someone wanna let me know when NPH actually wakes up? Did that opening "bit" even qualify as one?

I know he's a legend... but this Elton John performance seems really extraneous to the show.

I guess because he brings in viewers. Unfortunately watching real time so can't fast forward.

Ouch. A little embarrassing for the Emmy director to cut to the shot of the audience looking around for the winning writer that died earlier this year.

The globe spinning in the background is pretty, but a bit distracting.

Happy to see a win for Breaking Bad. I know most people don't seem to like Anna Gunn or Skyler. But a win for the show is a win for the show.

The Song and Dance in the Middle of the Show -- very "Larry Sanders" but still pretty funny. Plus Nathan Fillion and Sarah Silverman!

*fingers crossed* and ITA - loved the bit. He is such a magnificent actor. I will be terribly disappointed (perhaps not as much as he, though) if he doesn't win.

Love NPH. He always does a good job.

I, too, was pretty surprised that Merrit Weaver got the win. I actually gasped when they called it. Nothing against here. I like her. But she did have to be a long shot, what with the others in that category.

Captain Mal sings and dances. No way this board can find fault with that bit.

I was going to say that I think Nathan needs to hit the gym if that winded him, but apparently Sarah was equally winded.
