Best New Show Fall 2012

Well now that we are just short of the fall TV season, its time to reflect on last seasons first time offerings. What is everyone's opinion on what the best new show of the Fall 2012 season was? For me, its a relatively easy answer. There were only two new shows that I was still watching at the end of the season. They were Nashville and Chicago Fire. And while I thoroughly enjoyed Nashville, Chicago Fire is my pick.

How about yours?

The Bengals and Tivo, life should have a few obsessions.

I think Elementary was the *only* survivor from 2012 (OTA) in my SPs. That makes it the best.

Was Arrow new last year? If so, it was the only other 2012 show to make it. Revolution lasted about 2/3 season before I pulled the plug.

I think there were a few cable shows, but I'm not in front of my TiVo to look them up.

Edit: Just found out FutonCritic lists start dates for shows. Three OTA shows made it last season (for me): The Neighbors, Arrow, Elementary. I'll stick with Elementary as my fave.

Sitcom I think Ben and Kate even though it didn't survive.

On drama side I pick Nashville. I don't watch procedurals so ruled Elementary out.

I agree, Orphan Black....also The Americans (but I guess both are spring 2013 shows).

If I wanted to be strict, I'd say The Neighbors. When you think about it, it was a pretty weak 2013 for me at least.

Your loss. Elementary is a very enjoyable show.

Looking back and looking at my SP's, there is nothing from the list of 2012 "new shows" that we are currently watching.
