Do I need a new Cablecard ?

I've been using my current cablecard quite successfully for the last 4 years. First on my Series 3 as a single channel device and then moved it to Premier as a 4 channel.

I've got a Romanio Pro coming tomorrow. Do I need to go pickup a newer card to take advantage of the 6 channel recording ?

Thanks.

As long as it is an M Card you should be fine and since you used it in a 4 tuner TiVo with success your good to go.

I set up mine on Saturday, taking one of the M card from my series 3 and returning the other to Time Warner.

That is not necessarily true. There are some m-cards with older firmware that only support 4 tuners. See this thread.

Edit: Since the OP is a Time-Warner customer and therefore presumably has a TA for SDV support , there is also a potential problem there.
