Exclamation Masters of Sex - Showtime (Season 1 Thread) SPOLIERS

Don't see any episode threads for this, so I thought I'd create one for the season. If anyone wants to create an episode by episode thread, please do so.

Anyone watching? I have caught the first two eps and like it so far.

They're piling up on my TiVo. Haven't started watching yet, but planning to.

I like it so far. I wonder how much of it is based on fact and not spun for TV.

I think it's excellent. Best new show of the season. That's mostly due to the quality of the leads (Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan) plus a very good supporting cast, including Beau Bridges.

How much sex and nudity? (Let's say Spartacus is score: 100)

This show almost had me ready to subscribe to Showtime. I like the two leads and of course the topic. I guess I'll either catch this on digital media somewhere or wait for a Showtime preview on DirecTV and hope they are showing all the episodes and record them

I'm caught up now. I am enjoying the show. Not as much sex and nudity as I expected it to have, though. But, seriously, I am compelled to continue watching to see how things will go, in terms of the story lines. SP is staying.

Not nearly as much as I expected to see. No male frontal at all. Scant amount of female top frontal and rear here and there, but it's not a main focus at all. HTH

Oh and PS: Sorry, haven't watched Spartacus so I cannot rate it.

It is nothing at all like Spartacus.

If Spartacus is a 100, this is a 60 at best.

There was a very hot scene with Lizzy Caplan in the first episode. A decent amount of nudity in that one (almost all female of course). We've not seen the one from Sunday yet but one before that was much less risque.

So far a great show though!

The pilot is available free on YouTube. That scene starts at about 25 minutes. But the whole pilot is good; you should just watch it all.

I saw the first three episodes. Very funny, dark humor.

Two female secretaries:

#1: I ain't let no woman doctor looking up my skirt.

#2: That's just unnatural.

I'm surprised wiki does not have many personal details of Masters. There's only one spoiler fact:
Spoiler:
no children

Interesting! Did anyone else wonder this...

Spoiler:
In the show, Masters is apparently shooting blanks. So how did his wife seemingly get pregnant?

I looked in YouTube last night for the pilot and couldn't find it. Has it been removed? Are they Showtime authorized posts on YouTube or someone trying to post copyrighted stuff? If you'd be so kind as to send me a link, it would be appreciated.

I figured the other doctor used his stuff when he found out Masters was shooting blanks.

Episode 4 was good with the addition of Masters' mom and some of the background on him. Also found Johnson's ex's "off the books" interview with Masters interesting...creepy even

Tinkerbell looked really nice.

The blonde (Rose McIver) with the other doctor also plays Tinkerbell on Once Upon a Time.

Definitely my favorite new show this season. Heck, probably the best in several seasons.

The wikipedia entry that I read indicates that
Spoiler:
he and Libby had two children, Sarah and William III. They are mentioned in his obituary as well.
