The return of Jack Bauer? Hopefully.

http://www.deadline.com/2013/05/24-e...land-in-talks/

I read that made me smile I really hope it happens. Especially as a limited run with less episodes. Damn it we need this to happen.

That would be awesome. One of the most ridiculous, preposterous series ever on tv and I loved every minute of it.

I am soooo hoping this happens! I still have my CTU ringtone on my phone. What's cool is, every once in a while, when it rings in public, a stranger will recognize it and we end up having some fun conversations.

They should open up a socket and get this thing going.

Hopefully someone will try to kill the project by setting up a perimeter around it. That way it will definitely get made....

If they set up a perimeter around the opened socket, dammit, it's a sure thing....

It's my ringtone too. I love the looks I get when it rings.

Been watching Touch, and it seems like in this season he's been training to come back as Jack Bauer....

Exactly... escapist TV at it's best. I was in TV heaven when this, Lost, Alias, and Prison Break were all on at the same time (2005 I think).

The only way to guarantee this happens is to set up a classified, black-ops agency of people designed to prevent it and make sure everyone involved passes a thorough, rigorous string of background checks that will somehow miss the fact that every single one of them has ties to (or is the leader of) a multi-national terrorist organization whose only objective is to bring it back.

Just finished watching one of my favorite episodes on Amazon Prime. Lets just say jack had 3 kills before the opening credits finished. One of the few shows that gets me up out of my seat. The wife and I will watch it all in june after her knee replacement surgery have a month with not much on besides falling skies and true blood. She had not seen it before.

This makes me most pleased! I'll need to figure out how long it will take me to rewatch the whole series before next May. That sounds like fun.

I <3 Jack Bauer.

I'm not sure why I'm so totally psyched for this. I loved "24" when it was good and still watched it by appointment when it was bad (ahem, seasons 6 and 8). But season 8 was really pretty bad . . . .

I just finished doing that a few weeks ago. Took several months. Thoroughly enjoyed it the second time around.
