Big Brother - 7/28/2013

I hate Aryan, but I really hope she sees the light and backdoors Elissa. She had such a golden opportunity to put her up since she can't play for veto. I'm surprised that not even Helen could see that opportunity. There are some dumb people playing this year.

I agree. Aryn is not playing smart at all. She knows she has a huge target on her back. She is going to stay people's target no matter what she does. She had a good opportunity to go back on her deal and really shake things up. She is going to be a target either way.

I'm betting America picks Elissa as 3rd nom.

I don't see how Elissa can't expect to get voted out when she constantly torpedoes her alliance's strategy by telling everybody about it.

Completely unrelated to this episode, but I had an amusing idea this morning: The Platinum Power of Veto. It would allow you to take someone off the block and choose absolutely anyone for the replacement. You could choose HOH as the replacement (which would be nice this week). You could choose one of the remaining two already nominated as the replacement (meaning they would get double votes on eviction night).

Well that's Elissa for you. She is playing her bastardized version of the game.

Love the montage of her in yoga and Judd buggin' out.

I don't buy this America picks the third nom. Come on, this is reality TV right? The producers are picking the third one.

Really? I'm surprised no one has brought up that possibility before.

I have a like/dislike relationship with Elissa. Right now it's dislike. So I would love her to be back-doored. And for the record I liked Rachel.

i don't think elissa voters will make the same mistake as last week, voting for her to be the mvp nom. no, this week they'll make the mistake of voting for aaryn (who can't be nominated because she's hoh), along with others just reading the online stories and decided they don't like aaryn. this is what happens when non-viewers participate in online voting.

if my suspicions are right, it means the mvp nom won't be the false first choice (padded by brenchel viewers & others), so america's choice for mvp nom might actually make the pick this week (the second or third choice). it'll be interesting to watch it unfold.

Cirque du Solei, sandwich edition.

I laughed at that.

Amanda is playing way too strong, but she has funny lines. And she's the only one who is trying to have funny diary segments.

My guess would be GinaMarie. She's the last remaining member of the evil alliance. Plus, is there anyone in America who doesn't find her to be one of the most annoying people on the planet? Not to mention the fact that she's a racist.

On a side note, I really hope Aaryn gets voted out before the jury. I'd love to see what Julie would say to her during her eviction interview.

+1

As far as I can see, her figure is her only redeeming quality.

When she smiles her face reminds me of the Joker from Batman.

How many more evictions before the jury house begins?

I think there is seven in the jury plus the two finalist so 9. That leaves two more evictions after this one.

Amanda does have some of the best diary room entries. Her one with the clown was really great!

I also liked that everybody hid for the "Who wants to see my HoH room?" bit and Aaryn was getting mad that nobody was around.

You still get interviewed with Julie even if you go to the jury house.

Yes. But Julie cannot be as open in her conversation as it could affect who they voted for. They are still very much a part of the game at that point since they are in the jury. If she is in the jury house when she gets evicted I predict it would be a much different interview then if she was not.

Exactly. If she's on the jury, Julie certainly isn't going to bring up the racism stuff the way she could if Aaryn is no longer a factor in the game.

I'd roll the dice and take her to the final two. You think people will vote for a racist?

Aaryn is so stupid--"oh look, I started saying Ax like you stupid *** people do." Even when she tries to be nice, she's nasty. And then she repeated it when everyone just stared at her. Unless she's just saying "I'm HoH, you can't tell me off this week." Which is stupid too.

This!

I don't think she's purposely being racist. I think that's just the way she comes across and doesn't realize that it's okay for people to call her a dumb blonde or 'barbie' but not okay for her to make comments based on people's appearances. There is a double standard when it comes to 'racism' that I think she just doesn't get or doesn't care about.

She impresses me as someone who will use any mean, hurtful thing she can think of to get under your skin. Using racial stereotypes is just the easy way for her to put other people down. She reminds me of the spoiled, rich cheerleaders in high school that thought they were better than everyone else and that they should always get their way. They would say whatever comments they could think of to make themselves feel better even if the comments they made were the dumbest things they could possibly say.
