Yeah I love the fact it is set in Albuquerque, it is one of my favorite towns. Albuquerque in itself is a very ordinary city, but I just love the climate, people, and food there. It sort of reminds me of Vegas, but without the casinos and slightly cooler.

Is there anyone on this board who lives in ABQ?

ETA: This thread reminded me to check when the are roasting Hatch Chiles around here. Missed a couple already, but there will be one near my place on August 24th.

I have a friend who retired there. He definitely agrees with that assessment.

You should add a spoiler warning - for anyone not caught up it has spoilers through the end of season 5 part 1.

I love that area. Several members of my extended family like in ABQ, Socorro, or Las Cruces. None of which are exciting, but they all have nice scenery and good food.

While I agree with your warning, I think any site/page you visit these days related to BB will have spoilers up to now. Everyone is getting ready for the final 8, so spoilers abound.

One would be foolish to read ANYTHING about Breaking Bad right now, and not expect to see spoilers up to Sunday night's episode.

I don't really like the Tony Soprano comparisons. Tony was a bad guy when we met him. He was always a bad guy. He struggled with being a good guy sometimes but he was bad.

Walt was never a bad guy. He was an honest guy without much of a backbone.....until he got cancer. We got to see a good man turn bad with Walter. Tony was just bad.

A passing grade? Like a C? Why don't I just get pregnant at a bus station!
