Syfy closes Warehouse 13

The good is unlike Eureka it will come back for a final season. Unfortunately the final season will only have 6 episodes.

I don't follow ratings but I thought W13 was one of SyFy's most popular shows.

I'm not really surprised.
Warehouse 13 is a little too much in the fantasy genre for my taste. There's very little Sci Fi about it.

I watch mostly cuz I like the characters.

wow what does this really leave them with. They've canceled just about every show I cared to watch on that channel. I have a feeling that we will be parting ways very soon SyFy...

Yeah. I just tried Defiance. Really wanted to like it but found my mind wandering and the show would suddenly be over. So, now I'm lost and done.

With Merlin ending and W13 going away, I've got nothing on SyFy.

I used to really love Warehouse 13. At some point last year, I just got sick of it and quit watching.

They've found it's much cheaper to buy re-airs of Canadian SciFi, rather than produce their own SyFy.

Anything's better than their various "reality" series. I'll take imports over more reality any day.

This. So much this. I really only watched last year out of habit, I guess, because I kept finding myself feeling more and more dissatisfied with it. Eventually, though, I found Warehouse 13 was a habit I could break.

We watched the first season and enjoyed it, but by the end of the second season it got really hokey and we lost interest.

I like it. Light SyFy, and kinda fun. It's a nice diversion. I'm not looking for deep Sci Fi mostly bores me, so this is the kind of thing I enjoy. To each their own.

I tried Warehouse and only lasted about 5 episodes. Someone told me that Eureka was humerous but respected SF and Warehouse 13 made fun of it. Defiance is still grabbing my attention and there are two new series coming next month so maybe they will be good replacements.

If that's what they were doing, what's wrong with that? I don't think they ever pretended to be a serious Sci Fi show. I think it's really more a Super Hero show than a Sci Fi show in some respects.

How do they make fun of sci fi? Because they are more fantasy and mystical? I don't get that at all. BTW, W13 and Eureka are in the same universe. Plenty of crossovers.

And those were actually pretty good episodes.

Yes, they were. Balance between faux science (Eureka) and fantasy (W13) with good personal interaction.

Agree 100%. The show just isn't the same without her.

This made me chuckle. Not because I fall asleep on W13, but because I was recently thinking how much I miss all the WWII and Hitler-centric documentaries that the History channel used to air that would put me to sleep within 20 minutes.

H2 and Netflix streaming are your sleepy time friend. They are mine.

I love the docs but the monotone makes it easy to fall asleep.

You lasted 4 episodes more than I did.

I have a Seasons Pass for Defiance but you know when a show has lost you when you don't correct yourself when skipping too far pass the end of the commercial break.

I watched a 56 min tour of the ISS on YouTube this morning, I loved every minute of it but the Russians mono tone English had me fighting all the way through it.

If I really need to sleep I watch baseball. But it may be Vin Scully that puts me to sleep.

As opposed to the rest of SyFy's offerings??

Vin is good. Both interesting and sleep inducing. The best combination!
