Guess I'll be watching four ABC shows now instead of three: Castle, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nashville, and Gray's Anatomy. Oh, and Saturday Night College Football if I like the matchup.

I thought "OUAT In Wonderland" was going to be a winter hiatus series that would fill the same slot as "OUAT"?

That's what everybody else was assuming, but ABC apparently had other ideas.

The Thursday slot that it's in is ABC's death slot. I can't recall the last time they had a successful show lead off Thursday night.

Exactly. I think the last show that performed even mediocre in that slot was "Ugly Betty," and even that was because it gained an audience in another timeslot and was then moved to Thursdays. ABC has had zero luck at launching anything new in that timeslot. Maybe they figured that with the built-in audience that will come from fans of OUAT, they had a better shot to bring in viewers. Unfortunately, the ratings for OUAT have slipped pretty dramatically, so it will be interesting to see if this gamble pays off.

Not surprised they canceled the DWTS Results Show. The ratings for that have consistently been hitting series lows for the past month or so.

Looks like ABC is the only watchable network channel for me.

Castle, Modern Fam, Shark Tank...

Once Upon a Time is the only returning show that I watch, although I will give several of the new ones a chance.

CBS appears to be my main network for TV

That's really odd. I know it sucks in the ratings (I FF through it to get the results, unless I really like the musical guests or watch the Macy's Stars of Dance routine) but how are they going to work in the results? You can't show them at the end of the Mon show, because people need time to vote. You can't show them the next Mon, because the couple voted off will have wasted their time learning new stuff.

Maybe they just run commercials during Tues shows announcing it?

Doesn't "So You Think You Can Dance" over on FOX use a similar one-show-a-week schedule? They seem to make it work.

Part of me was hoping they would just kill off Revenge. Season 2 was terrible.

Is Thursday really a death slot with the death of Must-See-TV Thursday? What other compelling show is elsenetwork that would kill ABC's Thursday ratings?

Because it will be up against The Big Bang Theory and American Idol.
That has a lot to do with why ABC has been getting clobbered in the Thursday 8 PM (7 PM Mountain and Central) slot.

Season 1 of DWTS didn't have a results show - then again, the reason they created a results show for DWTS was because of the mess that a lack of a results show caused (they used the previous week's viewer votes along with the current week's judges' scores).

If you remember the Fox show On the Lot, what they did was, they told the contestants which one was eliminated on the day after the voting, and aired that part at the beginning of the next episode. The only problem with doing it this way on DWTS is, since the remaining dancers have to rehearse, the name of the eliminated dancer will almost certainly leak out in advance.

No mention of How To Live With Your Parents For The Rest of Your Life. Is that cancelled? Being saved for mid-season?
