HR21 updated last night

version 0x66d was pushed early this morning. Im seeing some symbols on the quide but cant find out what they mean.

Such as a little triangle? Indicates that there is a VOD version of that channel. I saw some discussion of this at dbstalk.com. You can press Info or Select (I forget which) to jump to the VOD channel.

What else?

I just read over at solid signal that the thr22 tivo will have a new software update,to fix bugs on indemand. # 1B5.

1B5? How does that relate to the software version I have on my unit, which is 018A?

It would sure be nice if they fixed this stupid "dead buffer" bug -- but I'm not holding my breath...

DirecTV uses hexadecimal (base 16) numbers for its versions. 1B5 is larger than 18A. That THR22 updates are discussed in this thread about the HR21 is confusing, though.

Whoops. Sorry, I was thinking about the wrong unit! Pretty desperate to find a fix for this buffer problem in the THR22, I guess.
