Will I still be able to watch my recorded programs

We are considering dropping dtv service for cost/budget reasons. What I was wondering is will we still be able to watch the programs currently in the "Now Playing" list after we drop the service. We have an R10 unit we have really enjoyed for 3 or 4 years and have a fair amount of programming on it we'd still like to watch.

Thanks for the help,
RacerDude

Note that you'll need to press the "DirecTV" button on the remote (aka TiVo button) to bypass the "searching for satellite" screen.

So i have the Roamio OTa tuner if i cancel in the future can i still watch the shows i recorded. I tape a few old shows on METV and Antennatv. Can i just watch the local channels without recording as well? I may need to cancel in a few months but will see.

Why would you ask a Roamio question in a 7 year old DirecTiVo thread?

Be aware this does NOT apply to all receivers.

In particular, it does not apply to non-TiVo DirecTV DVRs nor to the DirecTV THR22.
