Castle 3/25/13 Possible spoilers

I read an article that says they will be doing a show where they talk about Ryans past as an under cover cop, which was suppose to have been very dark. He is suppose to go under cover for one of their shows. Does any one know if that is what tonights show is or is it scheduled for another week?

That would be tonight's episode, entitled "The Wild Rover".

Pretty good episode. But I found the ending too cheesy/convenient. No way the ending would have gone down like that in the real world. There would be two dead folks sleeping with the fishes.

I was surprised how much different Ryan was as his under cover persona. Good acting.

Ryan acted/looked completely different under cover!

That's interesting, I wasn't at all impressed. No 3-piece suit, mussed up hair, vaguely New York accent, but basically the same as he's always been. Adequate for this show, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Agreed. The only apparent difference I noticed was that he trimmed the sides of his hair - otherwise, same person as always.

Not the way he looked, but the way he acted. Definitely gave a very different vibe from the normally laid back guy we see.

And I just didn't see it. A little more uptight, but it seemed like a meek guy trying (but not very hard) to look tough. It looked like Ryan on his day off, feeling a little cranky, not a radically different personality.

For such a light show, it was a very dark episode.

Castle tends to have quite a few dark episodes. Usually they are the ones involving the Johanna Beckett case, but the recent episodes featuring Castle, his daughter, and his father also qualify, as do the Triple Killer episodes.

I guess we just agree to disagree. I think Castle is mostly a "light" show, like Monk & other crime-of-the-week-but-not-like-NYPD-Blue type shows.

I think you both actually agree. It's mostly a light show, but it does have its share of dark episodes (although I'm not a big fan of them; they always seem a little awkward to me).

i found the cell phone excuse more believable than him not knowing he would be followed around. he was gone 7 years and met the new tough guy number 2 and didnt think they would check him out and follow him? no way!
