Season Pass List

I did a search for "Season Pass" in thread titles, went back several pages, and was surprised that there was not a thread for people's Season Pass lists (easy enough to copy into Excel or similar program from the TiVo website Season Pass manager, clean it up, and post here).

I know I'd find it interesting to see what other's season pass lists look like, and perhaps discover new shows where someone has a lot of crossover with my own list. And of course, if you're worried about privacy, you don't have to post here.

Since there wasn't a thread about this that I could find, I had to make a best guess as to what forum it best fit in. "TV Show Talk" seemed to make the most sense, but feel free to (gently) guide me elsewhere if I was wrong. Or for that matter, to guide me to an already-existing thread if you happen to know that there was one. Thanks!

With all that out of the way, here's my list. "Fringe" was just removed, considering that the last episode aired last night, and "Continuum" is still on the list solely because my wife liked it. I had a hard time because I was continually rooting against the protagonist throughout the pilot. Come to think of it, "Grimm" is also on the list due to my wife. Edit: I've just edited this so they're in alphabetical order.

American Horror Story: Asylum
Arrow
Breaking Bad
Conan
Continuum
Death Valley
Dexter
Elementary
Episodes
Falling Skies
Family Guy
Futurama
Game of Thrones
Girls
Gravity Falls
Grimm
Homeland
House of Lies
How I Met Your Mother
Last Resort
Louie
Luther
Modern Family
New Girl
Nikita
Once Upon a Time
Person of Interest
Raising Hope
Suburgatory
The Big Bang Theory
The Following
The Hard Times of RJ Berger
The Walking Dead
Treme
True Blood
Veep

Maybe try the Season Pass Alerts forum? That would be a much more appropriate location for something like this...

I seriously don't have the time to be typing all that stuff- DirecTv DVR, dunno how or from where to c&p.

I have SP's to the shows whose threads I participate in- if you see me in one I have a SP for that show.

That forum seems more like it's for when you know a particular show is going to run over, or might not get recorded for some reason, or ....

This one actually discusses TV shows, which at least with my season pass list is actually the purpose.

But if you don't think this forum qualifies, maybe the general TiVo discussion?

This, and don't really have much interest in reading through other peoples' lists.

Much rather just talk about shows individually.

23 in common. Plus I have a lot more (last time I checked I had about 80 SPs... I really need to clean that out).

Well, if I've learned anything here, it's that I have a paltry number of SPs compared to a lot of you.

Also, I edited my post to be alphabetical, as that seems much more logical if one wants to compare lists (thanks Astrohip!).

THE one and only thing I STILL like better about TiVo than DirecTV's HR2x is no 50 SP limit. I'm up against it now and will be forced to remove some of my summer shows to make room for a few of the winter shows coming up. I just hope I remember to readd those when they air.

Ditto that!

I have over 100 SPs on my living room Tivo and some 85+ on my bdrm Tivo. Thank goodness for MRS, although I wish I could figure out why streaming from the living rm to the bdrm tends to be kind of skip-y. I mostly stream from the bdrm Tivo to the living rm, so I guess it could be worse.

I have 12 in common with the OP. Looks like I have a little bit more in common with Astrohip.

Hey Astrohip, do you think that we are the only fans of Sullivan & Son, AND do you know whether or not it's coming back for a second season?

If you don't already, you may have to hardwire both of them. That's what I had to do. The one in the family room is close enough to the router to run an ethernet cable, and for the bedroom I used one of those devices that lets you network through your home's electrical wiring. (Some people have issues with those, but mine has been problem free. From what I read before buying, it may have to do with the circuit breaker model used in your home.)

That would be nice. I don't really think I can swing doing it all wired. My router is upstairs in my office. Both Tivos are downstairs and, really, not all that far from the router at all.

When I had my Series 2 Tivos, I had them wired (under my house, so it was an easy deal) together for MRV. I still have that CAT5 (or something like that) cable there but I don't know if you can wire the Tivos together for MRS, plus I don't even know how I would wire everything to my router upstairs. daunting. ha!

I use the devices you plug into the electrical outlet and it is impossible for me to play anything from a different box although I can transfer shows between boxes. It just takes forever. I do wish I could watch from any room.

I thought it was a cute sitcom, nothing earth-shattering, but funny enough to keep watching. Haven't heard a word.

Totally off-thread, I watched Legit this weekend, and was surprised. It's funny! A keeper.

Yeah, same here. I don't have super high standards for sitcoms and it's definitely not classic tv, but I really enjoyed the characters and found it funny. As cliche as she was, the mother really cracked me up and the Christine Ebersole character was pretty funny - lots of good (sitcom good) characters.

Will have to check out Legit. Hadn't heard of this one yet.

Cool.. This show is really "low rent", but it was decent.. I thought maybe it had been cancelled.
