Aside from the drive, are all (non XL) Premier boxes the same?

In terms of hardware, software?

THANKS

Ok. Care to elaborate? Everything I've read (spec-wise) says they are.

4 tuner units have MoCA built in and offer no OTA tuners, 2 tuner units don't have MoCA but do have OTA tuners.
(OTA = over the air)

Ok, good. I have FIOS so have no need for an OTA tuner.

Thanks

Also 2 tuner units can record analog cable, the 4 tuner units can not. Doesn't apply to FIOS but something to keep in mind.

There are also other minor hardware difference like chip brands, etc... but nothing that really effects the functionality of the unit.

Get the 4 tuner unit if you can. Makes scheduling recordings a LOT simpler, plus it will be compatible with the Mini when that's released.
