Default delete settings

Is there any way to set my premier so that when I choose to delete an item it immediately deletes it permanently rather than just moving it to a 'deleted' folder?

No, everything you delete goes to the recently deleted folder, then you have to manually delete from there or just leave it as it is. Items in the folder can show how much space is left. Once its empty, it will delete shows you don't want removed, that's already has the (!).

Delete vs Keep

I would prefer the default at the end of watching a recording would be Delete instead of Keep... I suspect the vast number of TiVo users Delete recordings they have just watched.

iOS app Recently Deleted Folder

There should be a Recently Deleted Folder for iOS device apps.

I think most people would prefer the accuracy of the built in used space indicator over guessing how much space is used by the recordings in the RDF.

Especially since a TiVo will delete a show you just recorded a day or two earlier while leaving shows in the Recently Deleted folder that have been there a few months.
