Total newb when it comes to sports...

Not sure if this is the right forum but I'm from Portland, OR and I moved to Minneapolis, MN this month. After a surprisingly easy move with a TiVO (re-running guided setup, going through Comcast's new "CableCard Activation Unit" telephone support); there is something I'm noticing that I'm sure is due to my "market switch".

I can't seem to find how to watch PAC-12 sports in my area. Is this something that is possible or are we still subject to the regional sports gods with the blackouts and such? Sorry I'm a total newb when it comes to this, any one know how I can do this?

Thanks

Called comcast yet?
Probably going to be an extra charge, would be my guess.

well I don't know how I did it but I found this:

Xfinity TV customers who live within the Pac-12 geographical footprint will receive a network tailored to their regions as well as nationally televised live events. Customers who reside outside the Pac-12 region will need to subscribe to the Sports Entertainment Package for access. In addition, Xfinity TV customers may watch Pac-12 Network content online (live streaming of games) inside and outside of their homes on any digital device, including computers, smartphones and tablets.

So this is where they make their money Hmmm..maybe I should become a Gopher fan hahah

EDIT: Thought right now it looks like the SEP is only 5.00 a month for the first 6 months then goes up to 7.95. I think thats a pretty good deal

If you live in Portland OR then you're in the PAC-12 area. You have two teams in Oregon you are a part of the PAC-12, both the Duck and the Beavers are Pac-12 teams. You should be getting the PAC-12 Network.

This is why it is useful to include city and state in your profile.
