Question XL4 $399 + $99 Lifetime?

I've received a couple of emails from Tivo that I assume are legit. They are for a Tivo XL4 for $399, plus $99 for PLS. Also included is a free MoCA network adapter.

It says it's a "TiVo Loyalty Program Offer"

I've come to TC a couple of times looking to see what people are saying about the deal because it seems pretty freggin good, but after various searching and whatnot on TC, I'm unable to find the same deal --- so now I'm not sure if this is a spoof email.

Have I missed other threads discussing this specific deal? Is this legit? Thoughts?

If this is legit and generally available, it would be awesome!

I didn't receive this offer but would probably be all over it if I did.

Post the links, it is pretty easy to see if they go to TiVo servers or not.

That is a good deal (if real). I wouldn't mind getting that email (if real).

Definitely a good deal. You can get the XL4 for around $340 on Amazon and the cheapest lifetime is $399 so a total of $740 compared to $500.

What TiVos do you own now? Just curious to see what triggered you getting the deal.

I really wish they had a 4 tuner model for OTA. I would get one for sure for this price.

I think that the OP may have misunderstood as he may be able to get a $99 lifetime service on an existing TiVo if he purchased a TPXL4 + service. Until we can confirm the offer I would not hold ones breath.

Ditto. I am settling with two Premieres in different rooms with MRS, but I'd much rather have all my season passes consolidated into one like with my D*TV HR34.
