Networking Issue with S3

I own a Premiere and a Series 3. Recently, they have stopped being able to see eachother over the network. The reason I think it's something to do with my S3 is because I'm also suddenly not able to access Streambaby on my S3, but I can use it fine on my Premiere.

I am able to connect to TiVo service fine from both, and I can access my mp3s and photos from both just fine.

Things I've tried:
Restarting both TiVos
Restarting PC
Reinstalling TiVo Desktop
Downgrading Java from v7 to v6
Made sure both TiVos were set up in TiVo Desktop Access Control
Both TiVos have video sharing/downloading permission on tivo.com

I'm running Windows 7 on the PC if that makes a difference.

Any ideas?

Assign each of the Tivos a static IP address from the Network Settings screen on the Tivo (outside of your routers DHCP range) and then reboot your entire network (Tivos, computer, AND router).

OK, I'll try this later.

Would I need to return my TiVos to automatic IPs after everything reset?

Actually it's better to leave the TiVos set up with fixed IP addresses.

Just be sure to write down somewhere what addresses you used.

Really, anything on your home network that doesn't travel should have a fixed IP address so that it never has to argue or negotiate with the router about the address. One variable fewer, one thing fewer to possibly go wrong.

And the DHCP pool shouldn't be a lot larger than the number of devices that do travel.

I have my router set on 192.168.1.1 (that's the default)

I start the computers at 192.168.1.100 and go up

I start the TiVos at 192.168.1.200

My DHCP pool is from 192.168.1.254 downwards by as many slots as I think I need.

If my network gets big enough that all the addresses between 200 and 254 get filled to overflowing I'll have to hire someone to administer it.

Yeah, I had one S3HD that refused to work on DHCP. The advice to set them all for static IP is a good one. I also do that for my security cameras and my wireless bridges and my Wii.

Well that fixed the TiVos from not being able to see each other, but still no Streambaby showing up on the S3. Works just fine on the Premeire, though.

Again, this just happened in the past week or so. Everything was working fine on both TiVos up until then.
