American Horror Society

this show is really good. I have to admit that the pilot wasn't really good, but it picked up pretty quickly. It's creepy, it's crazy, full of mysteries. I don't see topics being discussed about the show on here. Anyone else still watching?

Did you mean American Horror Story, or is this something completely different?

I actually thought the pilot was the best episode so far...

I thought the pilot was great! And CREEPY! I was home alone and they were also running ads for Paranormal Activity 3 during the pilot. I almost shut it off to watch when I wasn't home alone!

I'd join, but the dues are prohibitive and I know I'd have trouble getting to the meetings.

I wouldn't join any horror society that would have me as a member.

I am still watching it and I am enjoying it very much. The twist in the latest episode, "Smoldering Children," took me completely by surprise - didn't see that one coming at all.

I wonder how they'll deal with the dead exterminator? His truck is probably still out front. He will be looked for.

I had been spoiled about it for weeks but the episode was still horrifying. The Violet actress had asked not to see the mold of her body until filming so the reactions we saw were real.

For such a ridiculous show I find many of the actors top notch- expected it of Lange and Conroy and O'Hare but the Tate guy is a revelation. He is a vile, vile character but when not actually engaged in his little benders manages to keep his puppy boy sweetness intact.

Cannot wait to meet Constance's fourth child.

Don't want to be a wet blanket but the title of this thread doesn't contain the word "Spoilers" or an episode air date, so untagged spoilers aren't allowed. Not only that but the title isn't even correct; someone could drop in just to see if it's another show they might be interested in. For many shows spoilers are no big deal, but on a show like this they're more significant (IMO).

Cheers!

Ok that's it - you're out of the society.

Leave your membership card at the door on your way out.

Every time I try to leave the society, I find myself back at the first post in the thread. What is going on?!

I thought I was the only one (still) watching this show. Then I stumbled on this mis-named thread. I love this show. It is a guilty pleasure for me. And one of the few shows that I have to watch alone (as hubby dislikes it) which makes it even more scary for me.

AHS and The Walking Dead are the most talked about shows the next day where I work. And other than me, all my coworkers that watch them are all girls. Doesn't seem like the right demographic to me.

FWIW my best friend (a man) and his partner left today for a three week vacation in Italy.
His last phone call before leaving was to remind me to email him every Wednesday immediately evening after AHS and tell him what happened.

Bump!!

BUMP!!

I'm not really to this ep, just yet...

You all did not talk about this show near enough! Halloween was messed up!
It's all just so very creepy. And then kind of funny at the end...
I don't know names - but the guy who used to be on Heroes is talking to the woman from Six Feet Under about how he's doomed to live in this unhappy relationship, trying to complete this impossible house, etc...

It's so weird. How is Hayden able to do stick around, and have the police officer see her? Is it something about dying in the house? or anywhere in the town? Just blabbering aloud!
