channel signals getting crossed

I have an issue that TIVO and my cable provider, Cablevision, have never seen before.

I have the Series 3 HD Tivo and I use it with a single multi-streaming card provided by Cablevision.

When I watch HDNBC, this issue does NOT happen on non-HDNBC, at least twice an hour the signal gets crossed and without the channel even changing I will have NBA TV on my screen. I do not even subscribe to NBA TV. While the signal is crossed if I press the info button on my remote it still says 704, HDNBC, even though NBA TV is on my screen.

The signals stays crossed for 2-3 minutes then goes back to normal. While the signal is crossed most other channels work correctly but I've noticed HDESPN and HDTNT lose their signal completely while it's happening. They go back to normal after the 2-3 minutes as well.

I had Cablevision come over and swap out the multi-streaming card and I still have the same issue.

Everyone I contact seems to be stumped. Any ideas on how to fix this?

And in case anyone is wondering my signal strength is a steady 68. Also I've had the TIVO for a month and the channel signal crossing issue only started one week ago.

Tivo Series 4 XL; Cablevision 704 changes to NBA?

I too have started having the same behavior as you describe here. Have a CV service call tomorrow. Will update this post for any solution.

Sounds like it might be happening before the signal even gets to the input of the TiVo.
