We don't know yet, TiVo wise.

If you want to put it in a recent model PC running Win7 it'll probably be fine as a single NTFS partition to locate your "My TiVo Recordings" folder on.

Anyone use this drive in a Premiere yet, care to give insight on the performance of it. If I had a Desktop I would just buy it and take a chance on it.

You mean if you had somewhere else to use it if it didn't work in the TiVo?

You could always get an external enclosure for it if you only have a laptop.

But you might want to check how much they're asking for it now that the sale is over, and compare that to what's being asked for the WD20EURS, which is known to work in S3s and S4s just fine.

The almost non-existant warranty period on refurbs tells me what I need to know about how much faith the manufacturer has in them, and they know more about them than I do.

Yes, but these drives will still work in a TP, I would choose a drive with at least a 2 or 3 year warranty.

Are you saying that you know for sure that the WD20EZRX will work in a Premiere?

Or did you mean to say IF these drives will still, etc., etc.?

I have used them in a TP without problems, I have used many different WD drives in the TP without having any problems, the only problem I every had was when WD sent me a replacement drive that was 2.5Tb, that would not work in any TP.

They have the refurbished WD20EURS right now for $82.99 as well. They mustve had a lot of these. This deal has been there for awhile.
