A Brady Bunch reboot

http://www.tv.com/news/news-briefs-c...d-bobby-29257/

The Brady Bunch focuses on a divorced Bobby Brady... The plan here is to revisit the youngest male Brady in his older years, when he's divorced with kids of his own and does the exact same thing his daddy did: marry another woman with kids....

Apparently a break in continuity, since Bobby became a paraplegic in the first episode of The Bradys in 1990. Which was probably the high point of that show.

If it was a REAL reboot, Mike Brady would be gay. And he would have some kids. And then marry another guy who also had kids.

Well if the characters have to imitate their real-life counterparts, then Greg would bang his step-mom.

Thanks, guys. I won't scream for the "Spoiler Police", but my memories have just been stolen away from me.

Reminds me, was flicking through the channels last night and saw a bit of "Dickie Roberts". There is a scene where he is playing cards with what I suppose were some former child actors (including "Greg"). I vaguely recognized some of them (Danny Bonaduce, for one) but certainly not all of them.

Looks like Ann B Davis is still alive. Maybe they can get her to reprise her role.

I love that we live in a world where we can discuss "Brady Bunch continuity".

Not unlike the Christmas miracle recovery of Carol's laryngitis.

Why not a reboot of "My Mother the Car" or "Mister Ed"?
Or an HBO version of "Petticoat Junction"?

Or an even better scenario: Boot ALL Reboots!

No one wears petticoats or takes trains anymore. They'll have to call it "Teddy Intersection" or something.

It can still be set in the 50s or early 60s, but just give us more of the girls washing up in the water tower. "Deadwood" showed us more stuff than "Wild Wild West".

Absolutely. They will tune in in droves. Just like they did for Charlie's Angels.

And Knight Rider.

And The Bionic Woman.

Umm, couldn't they artificially get some of his you know, stuff, to inseminate a wife?

So technically, it wouldn't NECESSARILY need to be a break in continuity.

I love the idea of redoing the shows I used to love - The Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, etc., but they would suck, just like Hawaii 5-0. So please don't make Sherwood Schwartz roll over in his grave.

A drinking game of a shot every time Jan says "Marcia" could get ugly real soon.

I like the new Hawaii 5-0, it took it a bit to get settled but I enjoy it.
