Me too!

I watched the first two seasons marathon style via DVD and Amazon streaming. This time I'm going to just go ahead and order HBO. I'm already dreading having to wait a week between episodes. #firstworldproblems

Do we think that the GoT beer is actually going to be tasty? I'd ask in the Great Beer Thread but I can't decide if it's the Great (Beer Thread) or the (Great Beer) Thread and as such I can't tell whether such a beer belongs. :P

I need to start reading the old threads and/or rewatching season 2. I love this show but it can be hard to follow, for me anyway.

That's why you come here after watching. Someone here will definitely explain it to you (at least their interpretation ).

Doesn't HBO usually air the previous season before the new one starts?

I searched for episodes but could not find any in the guide.

If they did I would start my HBO sub early so I could rewatch season 2.

I just looked it up on the HBO page and they appear to be starting with Season 1 on March 25 on HBO Signature. They will go through episode 17 (season 2) on that channel and then the next two episodes (18 & 19) will be on HBO2, then they switch back to HBO Signature for the final episode (20) of Season 2.

I just realized from now until premiere night is 20 days inclusive. One episode per day.

It's a sign! Break out the blu-rays. I'm re-watchin'.

Of course if you have an HBO sub, you can get them from HBO Go, or OD. That's how I'm rewatching the last ep of last year

Well, that's not going so well. Five down, fifteen to go.

What is this "pacing" of which you speak?

I'm going to do the same thing as soon as I'm done catching up with The Walking Dead. Finished seasons 1 and 2 in less than a week!

I'm downloading GoT from HBO on Demand and will do a marathon this weekend. A search on GoT produced some shows about the major Houses. Can't say how good they are but I've set them up to record.

I'd forgotten how much this show resembles crack (I hope that's not a spoiler).

Ten down, ten to go.

Knowing what's coming only makes it worse. "I can't stop now! That scene is coming up where they do that thing!" But there's always another that thing coming up.

Wanna take bets on how much of Season 2 I get through this weekend? I'm taking tonight off, to catch up on my TiVo (which has been piling up these past couple of days).

It is basically the same thing with the books. The chapter title is whose point-of-view that chapter will be seen from. Nine times out of ten it will be the middle of the night, I say to myself that I need to stop when I get to the end of the chapter I am reading and the title of the next chapter is "Arya" or "Daenerys".

Awesome. I think that is Daft Punk that is playing in the background. Isn't there a big Daft Punk fan on the board?

Haha yeah I watched the first season and part of two marathon style and I found myself facing total exhaustion because I could not stop without seeing what happened in the next episode.

Interview with George RR Martin. No spoilers in the interview. Unless you consider his admission that the next book is waaaay off to be a spoiler.

If you are reading this thread, then you will want to read this interview.
