Backing up Wishlists and Season passes

I just had my external drive go out and since I had to get a new one lost all of my shows. Anyway, that got me thinking...I know that the TiVo software stuff like Season Passes and Wishlists and such live on the internal drive but if I ever have to replace that drive because it is bad and can't be read, is there a way to backup that data before hand and then, obviously, put it back.
At first I thought I could use the Season Pass Manager on tivo.com but even though the wishlists are set as season passes, they do not show up there because they are not "native" season passes.
It would be nice if Tivo let you download those settings from your account on TiVo .com (since they can obviously see them).

Any ideas?

We can only wish.

I've mentioned this several times over the years. TiVo should offer a full backup solution as a nominal add-on charge (add $2 to the monthly fee, $50 for lifetime). It would back up everything except actual recordings.

I have no idea why they don't do this. Revenue source plus benefit for owners.

A Series 2, a series 3 HD, a series 3 HD XL, and a Premiere. The series 3 HD XL was the main one I was thinking of but all would have the same issue.

The S2 and S3s - the only way I know of would require attaching the drive to your computer and using WinMFS or MFSLive to create a truncated backup. Not something you want to do all that often.

For the Premiere - kmttg.
