Tivo to Apple TV 3

I just got an apple tv 3, and am trying to figure out the easiest way to get Tivo videos into itunes, without much interaction.

Tivo Desktop Plus seems to do the job. Is this what people use? Apple TV is not listed as a supported device within Tivo Desktop, but the iPad seems to work, and produces decent video quality. Is there a way to get HD quality from Tivo to the Apple TV ?

If there is already a thread on this, would appreciate a pointer to that as well.

Thanks,

I started creating a movie server with iTunes and then quickly realized how much space it would take. TiVo movies and shows are huge if they're on HD. What setup are you using? Are you using a Mac Mini or something that's dedicated exclusively to storing iTunes videos?
