There were some funny moments. I still don't quite get Will Ferrel's character. Last week, we saw some moments of him being an a-hole/bully mixed in with some buffoonery. This week just total buffoonery.

The song at the end felt more like a goodbye from the actors to Steve Carrell rather than the characters to Michael Scott.

The Dundies are like the Golden Globes, expect they are less mean.

Was that a fun, little jab at Ricky Gervais?

Toby was back, but Michael never said anything to him. Just egged his house. Erin sure is weird. Dumping Gabe during her acceptance speech? That's just harsh. But I bet she is totally oblivious to that fact.

Yeah. Pam is sure mean for suggesting that.

Erin dumping Gabe like that was very uncharacteristic.

Yeah, by the end of it, I was getting a little sad. I'll probably turn into a crying baby next week.

You know what is odd? Absolutely no mention of Holly in the last two episode. Did she go ahead?

I don't get Will Ferrel's character. What's his problem? Are we going to find out? At one point he can't even talk to his employees as a group, at another he's wolfing down food, and later he's singing solo in the conference room in front of everybody. Is there any consistency to his character? It seemed like random bits Will Ferrel thought were funny that the director didn't have the cojones to say no to.

Did you miss the tag where Michael awarded Toby with the "Most Replusive" award?

Although I think it might have been funnier if Toby came back from Jury Duty in the episode after Michael left with no idea of what happened.

I don't think so.
Like Smeek said, she was probably oblivious to the fact of how bad it was to do so.

I must have missed that part where Michael gave the award to Toby.

I think Pam suggested to erin that she dump Gabe. But she certainly didn't tell her to do it AT the Dundees.

You'll probably find it in the beginning of your Parks&Rec recording.

When Michael was doing the Jim impression, I was hoping he'd look into the camera and make a face.

She didn't say NOT to do it at the Dundees though.

Shouldn't they be Sabee Awards?

That explains it if it was in the very end segment after the show was "over". I don't record "Parks and Rec", so I miss the over runs. I used to get them when Outsourced came on after Office.

You are missing out on easily the funniest show on TV right now.

I had a weird freakish dust-storm in my family room late last night. My eyes started watering like crazy, right when the cast burst into their Rent number. Guess it wasn't just me.

Toby looked kind of rough to me. Either the actor is sick and lost some weight from being sick or he just lost weight through diet but I thought he looked pretty rough.

The Scanton Strangler trial probably took a lot out of him.

Erin seemed to think that the Dundie signaled the start of something big in her life. That's why she chose that moment to dump Gabe - she realized (with Pam's help) that he would hold her back from the great things that her Dundie portended. It was entirely in character, as it was as stupid as everything else she does.

She looked pretty good cleaned up for the Dundies too.

I love Parks and Rec. One of the best casts on TV. I loved it when she thought "organizing my Agenda" wasn't exciting enough and said how about we call it "jammin' on my Planner". There's a ton of great lines in that show every week.

I loved this episode, and Will Ferrell didn't even bother me. Every subplot was clicking, and Dwight's schtick of being annoyed at Deangelo had a nice payoff this week.

The cold open was hysterical. "I'm not going in there."

"Ad lib masturbation joke."

I usually hate musical numbers shoehorned into normally-non-musical shows. But I didn't mind the Rent song at all because it was real. It was really their voices, live, with no invisible orchestra swelling up out of nowhere. That was cool.

Unlike certain other shows where a bunch of amateurs sound like a slick studio production backed by a lot of instruments that aren't even in the room...

Then pad your recording by one minute or start watching Parks and Recreation.

BTW, what was up with Michael using a cassette tape Walkman?
