Recording Deletion Option Issues

When I set up a "Season Pass" recording session this morning (the first such on our new Premiere) I chose the option to only delete when space was needed. However when I checked out the 11 shows that were recorded they all had yellow balls next to them and were slated to be deleted in 3 days. I had to change each recording to a green ball by selecting "Keep until I delete" (or however it is worded). If there is a way to select that as a default, I cannot find it. While I understand (until space becomes tight) the deleted programs can be found in the recently deleted folder. But I don't want that! Help please.......

The shows with the yellow ball means they will become ELIGIBLE for deletion in 3 days, not that they WILL be deleted. After those 3 days, if space is needed, they may be deleted. There is no way to set the default to KUID, unless you do it for each SP that you set up in the Recording Options section.

OK, that's good. It is just confusing and scary the way they word it ("This recording will be deleted on 10/18").

I have to agree that TiVo needs to change the wording. When I first got my Premiere, I was almost in a panic because every one of my shows always said "This program will be deleted within 3 days." It wasn't until I flipped to the SDUI that I found that it was doing things like it normally did (they become eligible for deletion two days after it records). It is very confusing and may place people in an unnecessary panic.
