Network Issues on new Premier

I hope someone can offer some suggestions on getting my TiVo up and running.

My Bedroom Setup:
New 75hr TiVo Premier
TiVo Wireless N adaptor (green signal light, 2/3 bars)
Asus RT-N16 running Tomato

Additional Info:
Roku box next to the bedroom TiVo
TiVo HD, wired Network connection in the living room

Problem:
My new premier is not connecting to the TiVo service reliably. TiVo Central shows error N33 (Problem with the service.) I am unable to access video on demand of any kind. Network status reports that the previous automatic connection attempts have failed because they have been "interrupted."

However, when I test the network connection, everything passes. (Port Configuration Test: Succeeded. DNS Resolution Test: Succeeded. Test of internet connection: Your internet connection is working properly.)

The Roku right next to the TiVo can connect to the my network without a problem, and it streams video perfectly. The TiVo HD downstairs can connect to the TiVo service without an issue, so I don't think the TiVo service is down.

I can force an update through the menu system, and that seems to go through without issue.

Another oddity: the TiVo app on my iPad can see both TiVos on my network, but if I try to connect to my new premier, it tells me "the box is not responding."

Anyone have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks for reading,

-X

There has been outages causing N33 and its only on the Premiere. Its a part of the Tivo Service that only Premieres call on.

I've been having the same issue with my Premiere and my Series 3 for the last week. The Series 3 just successfully connected and is downloading info now. The Premiere hasn't been connecting to my knowledge.

But i've been getting the N33 message as well. Its seems on and off. I can connect to Hulu/Netflix/etc with no problem. Perhaps an issue on the Tivo servers.
