Wanted to share how I fixed my problem with MLB.TV and spontaneous reboots while using the app. It may even be a fix to reboots under other circumstances. It took forever for me to figure this out for my setup and yours might be set up differently.
Basically most people are having reliable experience with MLB.TV but on 20.4.1 mine just seemed to reboot at random or when navigating while watching a game.
Bottom line: Installing a POE filter at the drop helped, but the problem was a splitter (at the drop) that didn't pass frequencies greater than 1Ghz. Didn't notice right away because cableco usually uses good parts and this one looked new with "digital ready" branding on it. Also, I had set up my MoCA adapters to use the highest 2Ghz frequencies possible for maxmum speed.
I think it's possible that the lack of the POE filter and the bad splitter not passing high frequencies reliably caused the network disruptions which triggers the kernel panic and rebooting.
This may have something to do with others getting reboots under other circumstances. Just passing this along for what it's worth to any who might be having some problems. Tivo and MLB were unable to troubleshoot this problem after much effort with them.
Can't hurt to make sure your MoCA setups have 2ghz rated splitters at every point they are used and a point of entry filter at the drop to make sure your MoCA signals aren't bleeding back out of your house instead of staying within the closed loop of your home wiring.
