Folders
After changing the drive in a series 2 DT noticed something strange after recording 2 according to jim's created a folder for jims? Did not do this before just listed the shows in the order they came in. I'm sure the software is the same had been updating daily with original drive. This is picked recordings I never use season pass or any of that stuff, why is it different is a good idea I like it.

It is a feature setting in the Now Playing List and has been around for some time.
You might have accidentally pushed '2' on the remote while you were in the NPL.
That cycles the group (folder) view.
My other guess is the hard drive that was used to make the replacement you put in your Tivo had that setting already engaged.

I bet your right about it already on drive if it would survive clear and delete everything. Before I had recorded anything it had tivo suggestions in the now playing list (looked like it was a empty folder) even though I had selected no for suggestions, went away after first recording. So I could have had it do this all the time would have helped me a lot not having to count number of shows. Can a 549 do this too? Is that all to activate just press 2 while in playlist?

Yes, it should work on the 549 as well.
Pressing '2' while in the NPL should activate it.
If you press 'enter' while in the NPL, that will take you to the options screen and you can change it there also.
