Well, I have not used Tivo Desktop very much since I got it about 6 months ago; maybe a couple of times.
About 2 weeks ago, I kept getting an error "Transfer version wrong server" everytime I rebooted or tried to open the program. I did an online chat and it was suggested I remove the program and use Tivo's cleaner software to remove any tidbits left over. Did this and then re-installed the software.
Unpon installation, it worked only once. As soo as I closed the program and tried to restart it, I get the same error. I follwed the directions AGAIN and it worked until I again shut the program down and tried to open it again.
Transfer server wrong version!
Windows 7 with all updates. Nothing has changed on my end, that I am aware of.
Any ideas?
