"Hart of Dixie" - Pilot - Leaked

FYI,

The pilot episode of the new show "Hart of Dixie" is now on the internet (usenet and torrents). It's a HD capture.

It officially starts on 09-26-11.

It's got Rachel Bilson ("The O.C.") as the star, and she's cute, so I'll give it a look-see. I bought some of those Magnum ice cream bars because of her commercial, where she dances barefoot over a bunch of cars to get one.

I don't think I have seen this commercial. I will keep an eye out for it.

I liked the pilot. Good setup. Predictable, but it was done well without anything too crazy. Of course, Ms. Bilson its totally adorable. Love that girl.

It fits the CW, but it's not a typical teen/young person drama. I suspect the show will do well there. Looking forward to meow.

I actually enjoyed this show more than I thought I would. Weird to see the other investigator from The Good Wife in a non-psycho role where he gets to actually smile and stuff!

I had forgotten he was on The Good Wife. I remembered him from Friday Night Lights.

I enjoyed the show. I definitely think there's going to be some meowing going on! That blonde is gonna cause all kinds of trouble.

Just watched the pilot - NOTHING like Designing Women.

Kind of a cross between Doc Hollywood and...something.

I was going to say Dawson's Creek, but I honestly never saw that OR the O.C., so I didn't feel qualified.

But yes, you got the basic idea.

I've read some reviews calling it "Southern Exposure" so I'm guessing it has a lot in common with Northern Exposure too. NYC doctor learning to get along with folks in the quirky small town.

I guess Everwood comparisons make sense too because that had the same premise: big city doctor moves to small town, and learns to adjust to small town ways.

I think the "O.C." reference was a joke. Because it also starred Rachel Bilson.

I don't think the O.C. has anything else in common with this show, unless it's just the general "fish out of water" premise but that applies to a lot of TV shows.
