DirecTV compatible with Tivo Premiere XL

Hello,

I have a new stand alone TiVo Premiere XL and am hoping for guidance on a few things:

1. Is there a satellite tv-equivalent to a cable card? I want to avoid having multiple boxes, so wondering what my options are. I prefer using stand alone TiVo (it's brand spanking new) and DirecTV as a provider (love that Sunday Ticket).
2. Alternatively, if DirecTV option isn't doable, is TiVo compatible with Verizon FIOS or Time Warner Cable? Any issues with using a cablecard to connect to those services, if I ended up going this route instead?

Thank you.

The Premiere is not compatible with satellite TV. It is compatible with FiOS TV or digital cable with a CableCARD.
