Rescue Me: The Final Season
No thread yet? My, My how things have changed.

Ep was pretty good and kept my attention. But hey, I stuck through Smallville so YMMV.

I guess it's a good thing this is the last season.

I would ask if it is OK to post spoilers but I think I would just be talking to myself. I guess that would make me fit in pretty well with Tommy.

It's just bad timing for me. I have a bunch of other shows that I'm watching that are in midseason already and I have a backlog of those episodes to get through before I start watching additional shows.

same here, but 1st episode didn't really grab me - storylines are pretty meh, and I think I might be really tired of Tommy's speech patterns enough to give up on it if things don't turn around...

The rules for spoiler threads are very simple. If the thread title contains the word "spoilers", OR if the thread is for a specific episode (it contains the original air date in the title), then untagged spoilers are OK (subject to the other rules about spoilers).

Otherwise all spoilers must be tagged.

This thread is not marked as a spoiler thread so all spoilers must be tagged.


Regarding Rescue Me: we're definitely in BUT we've been away for the better part of the last three weeks and there's no way my wife will let me watch Rescue Me before catching up on True Blood, finishing Friday Night Lights, etc.

Per my comment above, it would be tricky to use this as a season thread as it doesn't have "spoilers" in the title--so everything would have to be spoiler-tagged

Everyone is missing my point. This used to be the hottest show on TV and you could count on a thread being started while the week's episode was live on the air. Now we are 4 days past the season opening episode and no one (spoilered or not) has even mentioned anything that happened in the episode. It is time for it to end.

I didn't start watching Rescue Me until mid August. I watched the first 5 season on NetFlix streaming. Had to wait until Season 6 and 7 were released on DVD and available on NetFlix (because I don't currently have cable or satellite). Just watched the Series Finale earlier tonight. The show had its ups and downs, but overall, I liked it a lot, and I really enjoyed the final episode.

Goodbye Ladder 62. I'm gonna miss all the guys at the firehouse and the entire Gavin clan.
