South Park "HumancentiPad"

Wow. Just wow.

That was at once the funniest and most disgusting thing I've seen in a really long time. So many great lines. So gross. An instant classic!

"Why won't it learn to read!!!???"

For thos who may not know, the Human Centipede is a real movie (which I haven't seen), whose story is basically what was depicted in the episode, about sewing people together ass to mouth.

Really? That is something I will definitely not be streaming on Netflix.

Mark me as not interested in seeing Human Centipede. I don't watch horror movies in general. Not sure if it is really horror, but it doesn't look like something I want to see.

I forgot South Park started up again. I'm sure this episode is on my DVR. I'll have to watch it when I get home.

While I havn't seen The Human Centipede, I'll meet three of its stars, Akihiro Kitamura, Ashely C. Williams and Ashlynn Yennie, this Saturday at the Chiller Expo.

I saw the movie. B grade material, but the main character was actually very well done.

Haven't seen this episode yet. Looking forward to it.

South Park makes me feel old sometimes.

I thought it was very funny up to the Human Centipede part, after which I thought it was just dumb. Not even a smile.

But I knew that I would come here and all you kids would be laughing at it.

GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

My students (who apparently hate me) suggested I watch it, and so my BFF and I streamed it over Winter Break. Seriously? Besides disgusting, it was just a bad movie. The best way I can think of to describe it is long stretches of "seriously, this is just an awful movie" punctuated by moments of "OH HOLY HELL WHAT JUST HAPPENED" disgust.

Yeah South Park makes me feel old sometimes too. When the episode started, I had really high hopes since they were making fun of the iPad and that Agreement you have to agree to in iTunes. The parts where they were making fun of the Geniuses was funny, but the whole humancentipede thing and what Cartman kept saying to his Mom, were a bit over the top. Still a couple of laughs though.

Did they add the tracking stuff just in the last few days, or was it just a coincidence? They've done similar things in the past.

If you are talking about the Doctor, I thought he was awesome.
He was the creepiest creep I have seen in years.
The rest of it is a C at best IMO.

South Park is generally done at the last minute. You may notice there's usually not a program description in the Guide Data until a day or so before the show first airs. That's how they can be so current...virtually no lead time (made possible by the exceptionally low production standards).

Yup. The actor, Dieter Laser, was way too good for that movie.

And in case you're wondering how to top this, the plot to the Human Centipede movie sequel involves sewing 12 people together. I'm not kidding.

How bizarre. I haven't seen the episode, just read about it here yesterday. But then last night I'm reading a book at bedtime for my daughter. It's Judy Moody Gets Famous. In the book she is looking for a way to get famous, and looking in the Guiness Book of World Records, she decides that she and her friends can try to beat the record for...the Human Centipede.

Although their version is one where you just tie your shoelaces to the person's in front and behind you.

One of the funniest episodes in a LONG TIME!! Of course all that making fun of Jobs and Apple had me in stitches. I loved Kyle's dad resisting Apple because he liked his PC, and they tazed him!! Yeah, the a$$ to mouth stuff was a bit over the top. I loved the tinfoil hats of the geniuses and when they converted Kyle's dad to a fanboi he had to wear one too!!

Just saw the movie after watching the show because I couldn't believe that they could make a whole movie out of it. It was interesting, nothing really happens except that the Dr makes the creature, which looks exactly like it does in South park, and then .... you can watch the rest for yourself. To think that they to could make a sequel and possible a third installment is beyond my scope of imagination.

Well, of course it's "The Human Millipede." It probably adds wasps and canisters of DDT you can shoot at, too.

At least in the DirecTV program guide, the title of this episode was misspelled, as "HumanceltiPad." I was wondering when the Irish were going to show up.

I can't say I'm a SP fan (like I was when it first started) but anytime I come across a "social commentary" episode I have to watch it immediately--that s*** is ALWAYS funny. Those guys are at their best when they're making fun of some aspect of society. The Scientology episode from a few years ago, the New Jersey ep, this one...

*everyone looking at Kyle like he's crazy because he didn't read the user agreement, combined with the notion that the user agreement gave apple ownership of your life and express consent to perform experiments on you. Plus all the tracking stuff was hysterical. Like someone said, I wonder if they had the epsiode done already and just added that stuff in, or if that story was the inspiration for the episode. Might be worth a google.

*When Cartman and his mom are in the car after leaving the store and she's like "then you went outside and told a police officer I was ****ing you" I couldn't stop laughing. And then he goes on Dr. Phil and runs with it.

*I didn't really understand the Human Centipede stuff, although I guess I should have realized it was from a movie. I think they should have gone with something else because that whole concept didn't fit in with mocking Apple, it's practices, and the growning obsession with their products, espcially since the majority of people would probably have never known they were actually satirizing a movie. That whole aspect didn't blend well for me, especially considering how much hilarity there is to mine on the A story instead.

*"We're gonna go have a quickening with the other geniuses..."

I watched "The Human Centipede" last night. If anyone is interested, it's on IFC On Demand. At least it is on the Comcast system. I could only wonder about how uncomfortable it was for the actors, to have to be in that position for who knows how long under hot camera lights.
