Can I get netflix by adding a series 2 onto my network?

I have a series 2 tivo that I used to use before I got my series 3 model. I was thinking about reactivating it with the MSD that tivo offers for $9.95 but here's my question. I know the series 2 can't get netflix on it's own but if it's added to my wireless network won't I be able to access my series 3 from it (the series 2) and be able to watch netflix that way? Just wondering if there is any way to get the series 2 model to steam netflix so any ideal?

Netflix cannot stream to your Series 2 because it is not capable of this function, only the Series 3/HD/XL or Premiere is capable for streaming, also you cannot transfer the content of the stream to another box as it is not stored on the HD.

Why would you pay $9.95 a month for a Tivo just to access Netflix, when a $60 Roku would do the same? /me confused

There are plenty of movies on TV. Why pay for netflix when you can already record movies at no extra charge.

1) cut for more commercials (you're not seeing the entire movie) / you pay for a premium channel
2) cut for content (you're not seeing the entire movie)
3) not the right aspect ratio (you're not seeing the entire movie(*))
4) no extras

netflix is about the same price as ONE premium channel

(*) Admittedly, at least some of the netflix streamed stuff hits this too.. Even 'letterboxed' stuff seems to sometimes be at the wrong aspect ratio. I think I noticed this from the IT Crowd DVD vs streamed (and maybe vs recording it on whatever channel it was on -- at a friend's house)
