Easiest solution for viewing movies from PC?

I have a standard (unhacked) Series 3 Tivo hooked to my home network. I have some movies on my PC that I'd love to watch on my TV and understand that there are various ways to have Tivo access my PC so I can watch these films over the Tivo.

I'd like to know what is the most stable solution that would allow me to do this with my Windows XP system, with a minimum of hair-pulling-out. I've seen Galleon mentioned but I know there are other options, and would appreciate some tips from someone who has set this up on their Tivo.

Thanks!

The standard TiVo desktop application will allow you to send/pull mpeg2 movies from your computer. If your movies are currently in avi or mp4 you'd have to convert them.

Well, duh! I was so busy thinking this required a third-party solution, I never thought to look for an official product. THANKS for the info!

What format are the files? The free version of TiVo Desktop can only transfer MPEG-2 files. If your files are anything else you'll need to upgrade to TD+ which costs $25. And even with TD+ not everything will work.

pyTiVo can transfer almost anything, and is free, but it can be a PITA to setup.
