Recording (or NOT) recording Tivo suggestions

In the settings, I have selected "do not record Tivo suggestions".... and yet, they are still actively being recorded. I went back in last night to reset the unit and reset the selection to NOT record Tivo suggestions.... and at this very moment, that is exactly what it is doing... recording those same suggestions. I simply do not want them recorded.

What is going on? How do I stop my Premiere from recording these suggestions....?

Interesting. Since this last Monday, mine is failing to record any suggestions. Only 30% full, I have a whopping 6 shows that record per week, and it has the suggestions listed in the to-do list. It just isn't recording them... But is still recording my regular shows.

First time I've ever experienced it, and I've been a Tivo user since the series 1 box, so it isn't like I'm new to how it works...

Sorry I'm not any help. I'm tempted to tell mine to not record suggestions and see if that gets it going again based on your problem.

I have been actively giving a thumbs down to a whole host of suggestions before I delete them. It does seem to be reducing the number of recordings in the tivo suggestion box. Still cannot figure out why it is recording anything with the proper box checked "do not record" in the settings...
