Premier wireless adaptor

I have an HD and a Series 2 both with Wireless G adapters. I am thinking about replacing the Series 2 with a premier. Will my old TiVo Wireless G adapter work with the new Premier? It seems I remember reading somewhere that the Premier only works with the new Wireless N adapter.
