Tivo Premiere vs Tivo HD

I currently have a Tivo-HD. I can record two shows at the same time both in HD because I have two Comcast Cards. Will I be able to record two shows in HD on the Tivo Permiere (there is only one card slot)? Also, I have an external HD box (WD My Book) connected to my Tivo HD that gives me a total of 160 hours of HD recording. Will this box be compatible with the Tivo-Premiere? I assume I will lose all my recorded shows when I disconnect it. Thanks!

After you insert an "M" card, yes

If it worked with the HD, it should work with the Premiere

Yes- anything recorded after it was first installed.
