Smaller Drive in HR10-250

I've acquired an HR10-250 without a hard drive. I have an unused drive that is 200 gig. I will probably record mostly standard def with the HR10 so I believe 200 is plenty of storage. Will I be able to bake the 200 gig or will I need at least 250 like the original drive?

The replacement drive must the same capacity as the original drive, or larger.

I copied this from the DVRUpgrade website:

"This product uses InstantCake2 technology which allows use of virtually any drive. We do not recommend use of this product on drives smaller than what was originally in your unit, however smaller drives will work. We have not tested this product on drives larger than 500GB,however it is possible that larger drives may be accommodated."

This seems to imply that I can use the 200 gig drive. What kind of problems could I have using a drive smaller than the original 250 gig.

I think you can buy a large hard drive for less than the price of the software...
